Bruce Lee Fighter Available on the Next EA Sports UFC

After seeing his movies, we all wanted to be like Bruce Lee. With his legendary moves, lighting quick hands, ferocious kicks and mind blowing acrobatics it was not to want to emulate the legend. UFC fans had long been waiting for EA Sports had long been waiting to reveal a ‘mystery fighter’ they had been teasing. It was not too difficult to imagine that EA Sports would sooner or later incorporate Bruce Lee into their UFC games as most of the world’s best UFC fighters look at Bruce Lee as a idol and many have even modeled their techniques after him. This couldn’t have been done without the Lee family’s cooperation and their business entity, Bruce Lee Enterprises, who shared a treasure trove of digital references, behind the scene shots and candid videos to help video programmers develop the most real-like Bruce Lee 3-D image. But its not easy replicating a legend, EA Sports Art Director Ian Lloyd was beyond nervous, “When we first heard that there was a possibility of adding Bruce Lee to the roster for EA Sports UFC everyone was excited at the prospect and more than a little nervous,” Lloyd said. “Nobody wants to tackle a legendary icon like this and mess it up. “We had done a pretty exceptional job on our UFC roster to that point, with the majority having been scanned expressly for the game,” Lloyd added. “A handful of fighters were being built in the ‘traditional way’ – using whatever reference we could get our hands on. Bruce would have to be built the same way.” But if the early reviews are to be taking at their word, then it seems like EA Sports has hit this out of the park.
